You can use your Copenhagen Card in Planetarium by visiting our ticket office. The card gives you free admission to Planetarium's exhibitions and activities as well as access to one film* in the Planetarium dome.

Copenhagen Card is a digital card used through the ‘Copenhagen Card City Guide’ app. The card is available for adults (from 16 years), juniors (12-15 years) and children (3-11 years). With the purchase of a Copenhagen Card, adult, you can download two free cards for children (3-11 years). Remember to download - valid Copenhagen Cards must be presented for all persons!

A Copenhagen Card entitles you to one free visit* to Planetarium.

Copenhagen Card cannot be used for group bookings.

Copenhagen Card - Discover includes 80+ attractions and free public transport throughout the Greater Copenhagen area.

Copenhagen Card - Hop includes access to 40+ attractions and tourist buses in central Copenhagen.

As a member of IDA, you get a 10% discount on the entrance ticket including one film*. Members can also get a 10% discount on the purchase of tickets for max. 4 companions.

Disabled people who can present a companion card from Danske Handicaporganisationer can be accompanied by a companion free of charge. The card must be presented at the ticket office at the entrance.

As a member of Danmarks Naturfagslærerforening, you have free admission including one film*. The membership card must be presented at the box office.
*Not valid for special events.

As a member of LMFK (Matematiklærerforeningen, Fysiklærerforeningen eller Kemilærerforeningen) you have free admission including one film*. Membership card or documentation must be presented at the box office.

As a member of Politiken Plus, you can get a 20% discount on admission including one film*. Members can also get a 20% discount on the purchase of tickets for max. 4 companions.

Journalists with a press card can gain free access to Planetarium by prior arrangement and for press purposes only.

Students who present a valid student ID receive a 10% discount on admission including one film when presenting a personal student ID. This discount also applies to special events.

The student ID must be presented at the ticket office at the entrance.

Free admission to the exhibition for cardholders and up to 3 companions. Access to the film can be purchased as an entrance ticket.

As a member of Ældre Sagen you get a 20% discount on admission and one film*. The discount is only valid for members.

25% discount on admission and one film* with ØresundGO for guests living in Sweden.
*Not valid for special events.

The discount is given to a maximum of 5 people upon presentation of a ‘rabattkupong’ at the entrance. The ‘rabattkupong’ must be downloaded from the Øresundsbroen website and printed out from home.

Offer valid until 7 days after your journey. The discount is available upon presentation of your ticket.

If you have a free ticket to Planetarium, it must be dated to be valid.
Old and undated free tickets are not valid. 
Free tickets cannot be combined with other discounts.

There is a wardrobe close to the entrance. Please note that this is used at your own risk.

Planetarium also has storage lockers in various sizes. It costs 10 DKK to use a locker per opening and the fee is non-refundable.
We cannot guarantee availability on busy days.

There is a lift up to the Planetarium Dome. The lift can be used by people with walking difficulties.

Almost all film screenings in the Planetarium Dome begin with a space journey, ‘Space T/R’, which starts with an introduction to planets, constellations and meteor showers visible in the seasonal night sky.

All toilets, ladies, men's and disabled toilets are located on the ground floor close to the exit.

In the disabled toilet there is a changing table. The disabled toilet is primarily for disabled people and guests who need to use the changing table.

During school holidays and weekends we have special activities for both children and adults, including workshops, science shows and stories about the universe.

Children under the age of three are not recommended to visit the Planetarium Dome. In addition, there may be certain age restrictions set by the Media Council. They review all films shown in Planetarium.

Almost all our films have Danish narration. There may be a few films that are only shown with English narration. Look for information under the specific film - here you will also find information about the length of the film.

Headsets with English translation of the film can be borrowed at the box office. A deposit of DKK 50 per headset is payable at the same time, which will be refunded upon return.

Under each film you can see the exact duration of the screening. Here you will also find a description of the film, information about the film's narration and any age limits.

Planetarium has one disabled toilet (on the ground floor), a lift and four wheelchair spaces in the Planetarium Dome. You can borrow a wheelchair free of charge. We recommend that you arrange to borrow it in advance, as we only have one.

If you have a companion card, you do not have to pay for your companion's entrance ticket. Service dogs are allowed, also in the Planetarium Dome.

Pets are not allowed in Planetarium.
Service dogs are exempt. 

The Planetarium Dome is Planetarium's unique tilted canvas dome theatre, the largest in Europe. The doors to the Planetarium Dome open immediately before the show starts.
