A spectacular light show spreads across the night sky.
Fighting dragons? Immortal warrior women leading the way to Valhalla? Your ancestors looking down on you?
There are many explanations, but today we call it the Northern Lights.
On selected Sundays, we open the doors to an experience for the whole family, where we explore the story of the Northern Lights together.
In the Planetarium Dome, we take you on a Northern Lights journey that will make your stomach tingle. Under the dome, the only limit to where we can go is your imagination, and you get to decide the destination!
On this journey, we'll travel the world and hear about the myths that mankind has used to explain the amazing Northern Lights throughout history - from Chinese dragons to Norse Vikings and Arctic spirits to the understanding of the Northern Lights we have today.
We embark on a dangerous journey as we travel through space and close to the blazing sun to investigate where the Northern Lights come from.
Back on Earth, we'll encounter the magnetic field and the atmosphere, which lights up in beautiful colours. But before we land back on Earth, we have to stop by one of the other planets in the solar system. Maybe we'll find the Northern Lights on another planet? That would be exciting!
So take your family on an unforgettable journey and help us decide where to go to experience the Northern Lights - on Earth and in space.
