Anyone can learn astronomy and you don't need a big telescope to join in. At Astronomy for children you'll learn about all the things you can see in the starry sky with the naked eye.

How do you find the constellations? Why does the Moon have holes? How can you tell the difference between stars and planets?

Under the always cloudless Planetarium Dome, we will learn together how to observe the Moon, planets and the most famous constellations. When you join, you'll get your very own astronomy kit with the equipment you need to become a cool astronomer. Together with our facilitator, you'll learn how to use the equipment to observe the starry sky.

We'll also hear some of the stories that the constellations tell. Have you heard the story of the enchantingly beautiful Queen Cassiopeia? And who is the man with the cart, anyway?

You'll leave with your own astronomy equipment, great star stories and the best tips and tricks to get much more out of the starry sky above us.

After half an hour of Astronomy for children with our educator, we show a film in the Planetarium Dome.
